Pay attention! Money in your pocket! Young Adult Development Scheme!
- between 18 and 30 or a full time student?
- want a great way to meet people and make friends?
- interested in learning new skills, developing your talents?
- want to help make Fest happen?
- fancy saving £100?
If you answer Yes to any of the above – the Young Adult Development Scheme (YAD) is what you are looking for.
In return for three hours’ active involvement each day, your Fest fees will be subsidised by at least £100. You pay only £99.
YADs undertake many and varied roles and we’re looking for a wide range of expertise, skills and interests. Often a YAD will take on more than one role and will get to see several different aspects of the event.
What’s in it for you?
Money, clearly. And it’s also a great way to make new friends and new connections and to plug into a lively section of the Jewish scene.
And for us?
Obviously, we get energetic and lively volunteers. Nothing like lively and energetic volunteers to make Fest go with a swing. But YAD is also a good way for us to get new people involved in Limmud. Volunteers are the life-blood of Limmud - simply wouldn’t happen without volunteers. Limmud has grown and grown over a quarter of a century only because generations of volunteers have got involved. We want you to be part of the most exciting and successful volunteer-led and run organisation in the worldwide Jewish community.
