Bring your family

Hurry, hurry – places going fast!

As of 15 August – plenty of camping places available (including YAD discount places), but we only have very limited indoor places left, and no places left on Extreme Trek. Sorry – but we now have no more places for children up to 18; please call the office (+44 (0) 208 458 7965) if you want to put your child on the waiting list.

Your family is important to Fest and we've done a lot to cater for your needs:

  • dedicated groups and programmes for children from three months to four years
  • Youngfest for five to twelve year olds
  • Teenfest for thirteen to seventeen year olds
  • a professionally run crèche for babies and nursery for very young children
  • family sessions for the whole family to enjoy together
  • evening babysitting
  • food that's right for babies and attractive to children, as well as baby-sitting, baby-baths and highchairs
  • a family camping area
  • safe spaces for family activity

If you're bringing children – or have childcare experience – you can take advantage of our childcare assistance offer. In return for helping out with four sessions in the crèche or nursery (there are two sessions a day), you'll pay the hugely reduced price of £99. Please complete the application form and tick the YAD box and we'll get in touch.

5 to 12? Make a happy noise!  Read more

Children are not tolerated at Limmudfest – they’re essential and welcomed with open arms. We do our best to make sure that they’re both heard and seen!

A dedicated Youngfest team – all experienced youth leaders – will provide stimulating and attractive programming for 5-12 year olds, allowing them to explore their Jewishness, make friends, get messy and make a lot of noise. It helps them sleep better – honest!

Bring your voices and make a noise!

13 to 17? It's your Teenfest  Read more

Limmudfest is all about flexibility - providing the space and the tools for people to create the experience they want, rather than just slotting into a programme. Teenfest is the same - it's not your typical young person's madrich led affair.

It's your chance to do it how you want to - put your wish-list into action and design your own programme; then run it; or simply chill and relax for the weekend; and learn stuff along the way. You'll get to see and talk to Limmudfest presenters - musicians, writers, educators, artists - in dedicated discussions, so you get the chance to argue and debate with them yourself. You'll also have your own tiyul and social action programme, there for you to take advantage of.

It's your programme. Bring your ideas, bring your skills, bring your energy.
