Directions to Wessex Day Limmud

Bournemouth University, Talbot Campus

FROM LONDON

  • Leave M3 for M27 which becomes the A31. Turn left, following Bournemouth & Christchurch signs on to the A338. You are now on the Bournemouth Spur Road, which immediately shows a signpost for ‘Bournemouth: 10 miles'.
  • The 50mph sign is at the entrance to Bournemouth.
  • Ignore turns to Bournemouth Hospital, Boscombe, town centre local traffic. Just past Bournemouth Station and Asda on your left, you will come to a roundabout (St Pauls Roundabout). Go straight.
  • About 400 yards further on, take the first exit (signed A347 Wimborne and Richmond Hill). You will see at the top of the slip road the conspicuous Standard Life building. You need the right-hand lane of this slip road as there is a roundabout where you take the 3rd exit on to Wimborne Road A347.
  • Continue down Wimborne Road through traffic lights (St. Valerie Road on left).
  • At traffic lights at crossroads (Cemetery Junction) turn left towards Winton. This is still Wimborne Road.
  • Go straight ahead over the next three roundabouts (the third is Boundary Roundabout). The road becomes Talbot Avenue.
  • Follow signs to Wallisdown and University.
  • You will see Bournemouth University campus on the left. Take first exit at next roundabout (University Roundabout) and follow Limmud signs.

FROM CHRISTCHURCH

  • Take Barrack Road A35 towards Bournemouth.
  • Turn right at the Iford roundabout onto the A3060.
  • Go straight at the lights (Tesco is on the right) and straight at the Littledown roundabout.
  • Take first exit at next roundabout (Cooper Dean) keeping in the right hand lane on to the A338.
  • Follow the directions above from 50mph sign from the A338.
FROM POOLE
  • Follow signs for Bournemouth via A35 towards Branksome.
  • At a roundabout with a Courts store, take first exit into Ashley Road and then immediately right at next roundabout into Alder Road.
  • Keep going through two sets of lights, past Sainsbury's on your right (following signs for Bournemouth and Wallisdown) and through traffic lights.
  • Turn right into third exit at next roundabout (Wallisdown).
  • Turn right at next roundabout (University) and follow Limmud signs.
