Manchester Day Limmud
Sunday 27 June 2010
What is on offer?
Manchester Day Limmud offers participants from all walks of life, all backgrounds, all lifestyles, and all ages a unique opportunity to connect with all things Jewish. This is a chance to learn, to be inspired and meet and study with Jews from diverse backgrounds. For the full programme click here and for details of our presenters click here.

What is included?
- A stimulating day-long learning event in Limmud’s unique style, with a variety of sessions at any one time.
- You will also have the opportunity to participate in a wide range of sessions – lectures, discussions, text study, performances, workshops – on everything from Torah and Jewish law, history, philosophy, Jewish communal affairs and politics, through to culture, art and music – in fact something to please everyone, and including that perenniel Limmud favourite, chavruta-style learning (no previous knowledge necessary).
- An organised separate children’s & young persons’ programme run by experienced leaders
- Crèche facility (for children aged 3 & under)
- A light kosher lunch and supper (including vegetarian option) and all-day refreshments
- Judaica and book stalls
- Rest and schmooze areas

As with all Limmud events, we try and support those for whom cost is an issue. If you would like assistance with the fees, please email us in confidence. Concession bookings are available for those on low income (including if retired), but we do ask you to bear in mind that Limmud does not make a profit, and we do therefore ask you to pay what you can (perhaps by including a donation).
Please note that for administrative reasons, we may not be able to cancel any bookings which are too close to the event, and we cannot make any refunds after 1 June.
Shuk
As with our last event, we will also be running a Shuk (stalls): if you would like to organise a stall, please get in touch. There will be no fee, but anyone attending the event will need to have applied in the usual way.
