Glenn Tamir

After making aliyah with his family a year ago, Glenn Tamir has focused his energy on promoting Israeli music. It's his desire to bring this treasure to the diaspora and in the process to help Israeli musicians achieve financial success through their art.

Benjamin Tankel

Ben Tankel recently left Cambridge University, where he graduated with a double first in history. He has spent time working with Jewish NGOs (non-governmental organisations) in London, New York, and Brussels and is currently training to be a barrister.

Ramon Tasat

Ramón Tasat is Director of the Academy of Jewish Religion's cantorial school, president of Shalshelet and Cantor of Temple Shalom, Maryland. He's a recipient of a National Endowment of the Arts grant and his recordings and music books are well known. Born in Buenos Aires, he has participated in festivals on both sides of the Atlantic.

Jen Taylor Friedman

Jen Taylor Friedman was born and raised in Southampton, although she now lives in New York City. She is notorious for creating 'Tefillin Barbie', although she is also the first woman ever known to have written a sefer Torah. She learns at the Drisha Institute and teaches the scribal arts for recreation.

Adam Taylor

Adam Taylor has performed his poetry at the Edinburgh Fringe, South Bank, at arts festivals like Ledbury International Poetry Festival and Leeds Jewish Theatre Festival, at comedy clubs, schools, on BBC TV and radio. He's published poems and features in the Times, Sunday Times, Independent, Poetry Review, Orbis. His poetry collection 'God’s Face In Your Gazpacho' published by Troubador.

Lindsey Taylor-Guthartz

Organisation: London School of Jewish Studies

Lindsey Taylor-Guthartz studied archaeology at Cambridge and the Hebrew University and lived in Israel for 17 years. She lives in Hendon, editing and translating books on Jewish subjects. A graduate of the Susi Bradfield Women Educators Fellowships, she is a Teaching Fellow of London School of Jewish Studies.

Asher Tropp is Emeritus Professor of Sociology at the University of Surrey and also holds an MA in Hebrew and Jewish studies.

Elliott Tucker

Elliott Tucker is an independent Jewish filmmaker and artist - using a variety of visual media fiction, docs, installation, dance and painting. His areas of interest are mental visualisation, textual imagery, narrative and mysticism. He is currently completing a poetic feature documentary film on the Jewish East End featuring Vidal Sassoon and Steven Berkoff. He has exhibited at Glastonbury, the Jewish Museum and studios all over London.

Darren Turze

Darren Turze (aka D-lay) has been immersed in the Jewish music scene from singing with his shul choir through playing rock'n'roll niggunim, before programming London-based Emunah's klezbass fusion sound. He is currently scoring music for 'Children of the Ghetto', a film about the Jewish East End.

Sarah Tyler

Sarah Tyler works for a theatre education charity and for a consultancy that explores people’s motivations (ask!) Conference handbook 2006 said she was a musical theatre boffin. No change there. She recently finished a Masters in arts management within which she took ‘fun’ courses like the socio-cultural analysis of the musical.
