Accommodation at Conference

Where can I stay during Conference?

Whilst attending Conference, you can either be a residential participant (with on-site university accommodation provided), or you can make your own off-site accommodation arrangements. Most Conference participants choose to stay on-site to get the ‘full' Conference experience.

What is Conference accommodation like?

Accommodation on-site is mainly in student bedrooms. These are of a fairly high standard and will suit the varying needs of our very many residential participants.

Single Ensuite roomOn site at the University of Warwick the standard single bedrooms have ensuite facilities. Alternatively, at a lower price, there are single bedrooms available that share bathroom facilities with six or seven other single rooms.

Some of the bedrooms are large enough to take a second bed, these we offer as twin bedrooms. They also share bathroom facilities with other rooms. There are no twin rooms that are ensuite.

Hotel roomHowever, new this year, we are able to offer, at a supplementary charge, hotel-style bedrooms with double bed, bathroom and television. There are a very few twin hotel-style rooms which will be allocated strictly on a first come first served basis. Please indicate on the Application Form if you would like a hotel-style twin room.

Unfortunately, we cannot accommodate families in the hotel-style rooms due to the University's policy against allowing under 18s to stay in the facility.  We regret that no exceptions can be made.

We also need to point out that if you wish to apply for an hotel-style bedroom, and are staying for Shabbat, the Eruv will not extend to this building. There will be somewhere within the Eruv for you to store items for use during Shabbat.

There are a number of disabled access bedrooms available. Please let us know when you apply if you require one.

If you have particular accommodation requirements we recommend booking early. If you would like to check availability, please phone the office before booking.

Family Accommodation - Updated

This year families will be accommodated in twin rooms next door to each other. These family twin rooms will share facilities with one or two other families.

Cots are available for hire, at a small charge, which should be requested on your application form.

We have recently opened up more family accommodation in response to demand. Families with all children aged 11 or over can choose to stay in single ensuite rooms (for a per-person upgrade of £60 - note that the whole family will be in single rooms under this arrangement).

Parents whose children are all aged 16 or over can now upgrade to stay in the on-site hotel - with their children staying in other accommodation (the hotel has a strict 18+ limit).

If you've already booked and want to upgrade to these options please contact conf07-accommodation@limmud.org.

New bookings with these options cannot be made online at the moment. Please call the office on 020 8438 6555 to book.

Short stays

We are offering short stay accommodation for £30 per person per night in single ensuite rooms, or £50 per person per night in hotel-style accommodation (minimum 3 day, 2 night stay based on a couple sharing), both subject to availability.
