There be a final visit on Thursday 6 December.

FAMILIES WITH CHILDREN - SPECIAL EDUCATIONAL NEEDS

A reminder that for the first time we have made extra provision for children with SEN, and it would be a shame if the places are not taken up - please do spread the word to those you think would be interested. young_limmud[at]hotmail.com - Jude Kay or Victoria Cohen.

LIVE IN SCOTLAND? YOU'LL WANT TO ...

The Limmud Scotland team have arranged extra funding for your Conference place (even if you're already getting financial assistance or are a YAD) - plus a free coach. scotland@limmud.org

Please pass this on to anyone you know who might benefit.

GOO GOO GAA GAA TO GRUBER TO GRUB

Bobby Jacobs and I were on JCom radio (http://www.jcomradio.net/) last night for a full 45 mins talking about Conference ... and we barely had time to start to say how wonderful it all is. Really emphasised the incredible nature of what we are all doing - and this is what really matters amongst the occasional little frustration that may hit us.

Meanwhile (and a tenuous link to a very busy programme) I'm delighted that Danny and Joel Berkowitz have successfully encouraged Ruth Gruber to join us - an incredible lady. http://www.jewishvirtuallibrary.org/jsource/biography/gruber.html

A delicious addition to the list is Silvia Nacamulli and her mouthwatering Jewish Italian cookery demonstrations. Pasta for the soul?

See who's coming http://www.limmud.org/conference/programme/Presenters07 - spend five minutes taking a look around.

MORE GRUB

Don't want to cook your own? We've just got menus from the caterer - they look terrific, and the all-day food is going to include hot soup and a baked potato point. The catering team have got a few exciting surprises up their sleeves ... more in a month or so.

OOPS

Last week we got some lists confused and this went to some people who hadn't volunteered. I hope we've managed to fix it, but if you're wondering why you're getting these messages and want them to stop, then drop me an email and we'll remove you from the list.

MISSED IT? NOT MISSED OUT

All these emails are now online at http://www.limmud.org/conference/newsletters

By the way, this information is not 'secret' so feel free to pass it around your friends. They're welcome to join the volunteer list even if they're not sure yet what they might do. Charles Darwish charlesdarwish[at]hotmail.com / Dan Musikant danw777[at]zoom.co.uk
