How do I get to Conference?
- Share a coach – we’ll hire coaches to run from various points around London and Manchester, subject to demand. Please tick the box on the application form to reserve a place.
- Driving – a couple of hours from London and Manchester; there’s plenty of parking on campus. If you can offer, or need a lift, visit the carpool forum
- Public transport – regular coach and train services run to the area from around the country (bear in mind that services are restricted on bank holidays). The closest station is Coventry.
- Flying – the nearest airport is Birmingham International; East Midlands Airport is 30 minutes travel away, Luton Airport 80 minutes and Heathrow just over 90 minutes.
What do I eat?
All meals are included in the cost of Conference. We provide fully supervised kosher food as part of your Conference fee. The menu will feature dairy, fish, vegan and vegetarian food. If you stay with us over Shabbat, there’ll be a meat option available too.
How do I get around on site?
Accessibility at The University of Warwick is good – it’s a compact site, quick and easy to get around, with accommodation and session rooms close to one another and a maximum walking distance of 15 minutes. We’ll be providing transport assistance for those who need it.
Is any financial assistance available?
Limmud’s policy is that nobody should be excluded for financial reasons. As well as the Young Adult Development programme we can offer assistance for those having trouble meeting the full cost and guarantee that every request is treated in confidence. Email office@limmud.org by 23 November to apply.
What are the provisions for accessibility and special needs?
All seminar rooms have access for people with disabilities and many also have a hearing loop. We can offer adapted single ensuite rooms for those with a disability or specific mobility needs. Tell us about your needs when you apply online.
