Pay attention! Money in your pocket! Young Adult Development scheme!

• between 18 and 30 or a full time student?

• want a great way to meet people and make friends?

• interested in learning new skills, developing your talents?

• want to help make Conference happen?

• fancy saving £190?

If you answer Yes to any of the above – the Young Adult Development Scheme (YAD) is what you are looking for.

In return for 4 ½ hours’ active involvement each day, your Conference fees will be subsidised by £190. Prices for you will start from about £159.

YADs undertake many and varied roles and we’re looking for a wide range of expertise, skills and interests. Often a YAD will take on more than one role and will get to see several different aspects of the event.

What’s in it for you?

Money, clearly. And it’s also a great way to make new friends and new connections and to plug into a lively section of the Jewish scene.

And for us?

Obviously, we get energetic and lively volunteers. Nothing like lively and energetic volunteers to make Conference go with a swing. But YAD is also a good way for us to get new people involved in Limmud.

Volunteers are the life-blood of Limmud - simply wouldn’t happen without volunteers. Limmud has grown and grown over thirty years only because generations of volunteers have got involved. We want you to be part of the most exciting and successful volunteer-led and run organisation in the worldwide Jewish community.

Important note: If you want to come to Conference as a YAD, you need to apply by no later than 13 November.

There are also ways of coming to Conference for free!

Get involved with Young Limmud as a madrich/a (youth leader), rosh (team leader), or help run Teen Limmud: spend your days with bright, sparky young people from 9 to 5 and then have the evening free to enjoy the entertainments, the bar and the astounding Conference atmosphere!
